Wildlife stewardship

We have entered our farm into a countryside stewardship scheme to replant old hedgelines, establish ponds, preserve historic areas, encourage old plant species and wildlife areas. 

Over the last five years we have been busy clearing out any dead wood from the hedges, replanting and refencing old and new hedgelines. We are already being to notice a increase in wildlife and wildflowers.

We have also fenced off wildlife strips. These areas are left for wildplants and animals to take over. These areas have shown increasings in wildlife, big and small.

Footpaths have been restored, we have even applied for a new one allowing the public to enjoy the range of wildlife on our farm.
