Youngstock  ‘Our future’

Calves are born all year round, they are reared on warm cows milk until 3 months old, whenhay and grass are introduced into their diet.

These calves will be reared on the farm until they are two years old when they will be introduced to our young bull who will hopefully get them in calf.

They will have their own calves approximately nine months later, and will not only provide milk for their calf but have ample surplus milk for the creamery.
